US Taxpayers Party to Contest 2022 Mid-term Election Processes

Following the 2022 Mid-term Elections in the state of Michigan, a number of inconsistencies began to appear. These inconsistencies cropped up in a variety of areas, raising questions to the integrity of the election itself. As such, the US Taxpayers Party of Michigan, the state affiliate to the Constitution Party, has determined that until these inconsistencies have been resolved, none of the USTPM candidates will be conceding their races.

Yesterday, a number of individuals have come forward with claims of tabulators rejecting ballots, requiring voters to make multiple attempts to cast their ballots. There have been reports of loss of chain of custody with ballots, and there are inconsistencies in some of the data points. There has been some question regarding the number of registered voters in comparison with votes cast and candidates living outside of their registered districts.

“To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers lord us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude.”
~ Thomas Jefferson

The US Taxpayers Party of Michigan, the state affiliate to the Constitution Party, believes in cutting the federal government down to constitutional size, and restoring the separation of powers, the checks and balances, and the systems of accountability postulated by the framers. We pledge to protect the rights and responsibilities guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and the Michigan State Constitution. As such, election integrity is a priority that must be preserved.

Due to the reported inconsistencies, the US Taxpayers Party of Michigan believes it is the duty and responsibility of the Party, and of it’s candidates, to question the 2022 Mid-term election and is calling for a statewide audit of the processes, data, and the subsequent results.
